Hi there fANNtastic friends!!!
Good to be dropping in for a few minutes today
with you. I hope you're well and enjoying a good winter week...and it is a
winter week, isn't it?? :).
Karissa and I enjoyed being in my little home
state this past weekend....Tishomingo, MS and Artesia, MS. Great to see
fANNtastics Lou and Babs, and meeting some new fANNtastics....thanks, y'all, for
joining this little fANNtastic family!

in Tishomingo (Fairview Church of God) and Pastor Morgan at Artesia Baptist for
welcoming me. And thank you Lou and Barb for helping to coordinate these

I'm gonna refrain from
talking "weather" tooooo much 'cause that's the topic of conversation right
now...ALL OVER THE WORLD :). And with good cause, in some cases, right? In
chat during our prayer time in the evenings we pray for all those who are having
challenges galore resulting from the weather conditions all
over.

Jesus Lives
I was greatly moved this
morning as I read this (from Jesus) in my "Jesus Lives" devotional dealing with
fear concerning the future..."The future is one of those secret things beyond
your domain. Release it to Me, the rightful Owner. Refuse to worry about the
future, and you will find your resources for today quite sufficient. Remember
that I am part of those resources, and nothing is impossible with Me". We are a
fearful people, lots of unknowns, which sometimes is one of the BIGGEST
"security robber". There are a lot of unanswered questions out there. I often
draw on the chorus of my own song that Dianne Wilkinson helped me write:

That's it....HE KNOWS, so if we know
Him, the future seems more secure, doesn't
it?
"Jesus Lives" is a newer devotional
written by Sarah Young, who compiled "Jesus Calling" that has been such a breath
of fresh air for thousands and thousands of us.  You can pick it up at a Christian bookstore or here's the link to Ann's Store:
It's a perfect follow up to "Jesus Calling"....it's about being reminded in
Jesus' own words that He's in every intricate part of our days and
nights.

I'd like to ask you to pray
for one of the MTWR committee members, Sue Clinton. She's had the third death
in her family in less than a year..so hard!
And, I understand that Les Beasley (formerly with the Florida Boys
Quartet) has been hospitalized with pneumonia, but is better and about to be
released from the hospital. I've known Les since I was a senior in high school
when I went out on a weekend with the Johnson Sisters (remember them??? :) :)).
I know he and his family would appreciate knowing that you are
praying.

Plans for MTWR 2010 are coming along
well...I get so excited this time of the year I can hardly stand myself LOL.
Please pray and ask God if you aren't supposed to be here!! I really mean
that. We have a few scholarships available for those of you who honestly can't
come up with all the funds right now for the registration fee, and I would be
glad to hear from you as to those needs you might have. Let's just get you
here, ok?? :). I'll be writing more about MTWR next time. In the meantime,
please email me if you haven't received a brochure and you are interested. By
the way, if you registered before receiving your brochure, please go ahead and
send in your filled out registration form and note somewhere that you are
pre-registered, ok? You can do this online, if you wish.
