fANNtastics,
Can you believe it??? 2009 is almost
history...2010 is almost with us. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
Are you still enjoying Christmas in your
dreams and memories? I am. I've never had a better Christmas, that I
remember...welllll, maybe the year I got that green and white bicycle was right
up there :). My family came to my little hovel this year...and we just had the
best time together. And if I can brag just a weeeee bit, my chicken and
dressing was the best ever, I really do believe LOL. My sister Vern's sweet
potatoes were the best things I've put in my mouth in many a
moon!!
It seemed that the Christ child Who was
born in that filthy stable/cave because of love for all of us was especially
near and dear to my family this year. I don't ever ever ever want to miss
that!!!

AnnD keeper Karissa and I enjoyed two concerts in MO this past
Sun. Thank you First Church of the Nazarene in Farmington for a good Sun.
morning..even with Pastor Terry and family away, we had a great little service
:). Everybody did their job well!! Many "thank you's" to Pastor Ed in Dexter's
Southwest Nazarene for getting the word out and having a good crowd Sun. night.
It was fun seeing fANNtastics Mark and Sunshine from AR...and also some new
fANNs (older Facebook friends :) ) Bryan and his daddy and daughter from TN.
It's so much fun when y'all show up!!
I'm looking forward to returning again this weekend to the NW
for three concerts in Portland, OR area...y'all comin'??? :). Check the

| My "bestest
friend" Dolly is on her way here from KY...she and I have spent at least a
couple of days together between Christmas and New Years since Paul's death in
1992...and I so look forward to this time. I really do appreciate customs and
traditions, don't you??? It's like...at least SOME THINGS stay the same when
EVERYTHING seems to be changing in ways that aren't always sure of....can I get
a witness??????? :)

Ministries is a non-profit ministry, supported by contributions from giving
people, from time to time good people contribute things other than money to the
ministry...we're grateful! I would like to invite you to participate in a
timeshare being auctioned off on my website's fANN forum message board
(www.anndowning.com). You just go to the fANN forum, it'll ask you to register
a password, you'll be validated, then you go to the "Let's Talk" forum to find
the auction info. For your first posting, you'll need to respond to three
existing posts (one time) and then you'll be able to enter a new post of your
bid. Just "reply" to the last bid with your bid. (You can feel free to contact
me if you have any questions). Deadline for the auction is Thursday evening, the
31st, at midnight (just in time for the new year) :).
Let me
add that if you get the winning bid at midnight on the 31st, your winning amount
will count towards your charitable giving for this year...a tax receipt will be
provided.
And
while I try not to say toooo much here about contributing to Ann Downing
Ministries, I would appreciate your prayers as to whether God would use your
gift to ADM to help us finish out the year. I'll just add here that this has
been a very trying year (calling on a lot of faith from us faith-based
ministries) for those of us who depend on offerings and contributions from
others. I understand it's hard for some of y'all, too, and I'd never want you
to feel any pressure from ADM...just asking that if you've had a pretty good
year and feel so led, your donations would still count for 2009. All of that
can be done online here ...or you can email me to say
what you're able to be sending. Thank you for your consideration...and I really
mean that!!
