Hi there fANNtastics,
It's a lovely, lovely day here in my little "neck of
the woods" in Middle Tennessee. Isn't it kinda funny how you never hear us say
what a "lovely" day we're having when it's pouring rain, even if we need it as
badly as we do here!!! :). BUT, WE DID GET RAIN LAST WEEK...PRAISE
GOD!!!

Wonderful Weekend
Indiana and Kentucky
Wellll, I had just the neatest little ole time with
some good friends in New Albany, IN and Lancaster, KY Saturday night and Sunday
morning. Thanks to fANNtastics Janet and Pat (and Mr. Pat) for hosting me at
the Silver Heights Campground in New Albany....the oldest functioning campground
in the state of Indiana...it began in 1888. Isn't that just amazing???? The
Childresses there were sooo kind to me..and to my AnnD keeper of the weekend,
best friend Dolly. I'm gonna go back!! Tom said so!!! :). I just feel I
oughta give you their website address...and you know I don't do that normally,
right? Try www.silverheights.org. There's just
something very special to me about people, places and things that LAST...don't
you feel that way? Oh, by the way, fANNtastic Deb and others who get the
newsletter were with us, too. I got pics, soooo keep watching that "snapshots"
page on www.anndowning.com. In fact there are gobs
of new pics up now...and I'll one day get 'em all captioned...wellllll maybe
some of them :).
Then yesterday morning at Lancaster Nazarene was so
much fun..and such a sweet service/concert. Thank you Pastor Dave and Ms.
Pastor Delilah (don't you love that name???). .

Annieb's Bible Study
Starting Tonight
AnnieB is starting up her Bible Study again tonight,
running for the next "however long it takes" Mondays...it's Philippians this
time (book of joy)..Monday nights at 7 p.m. central. I'm sure she'd still like
to hear from you if you'd like to join in. You can respond to this newsletter
and I'll put you in touch with her. And by the way, you can join us for prayer
time in chat every night around 9 central. I can tell you that there have been
some real answers to pray from this little praying group....talking to our
Father God in one accord! We're gonna be setting up a prayer request list so
you can email your requests in if you're not able to join chat...will tell you
more about that later.

Leaving the USA
Denmark and Sweden
Wayelllll, tomorrow Lisa and I are gonna be leaving
these United States for Denmark and Sweden. Y'all wanna go??? :). I'm excited,
Lisa's nervous but excited..lol. Those fANNtastics who live in Denmark and
Sweden have been after me for a while to come over and it's happening...all
because Joakim took the plunge of setting up some concerts. I even met a lady
in New Albany Saturday night who is from Sweden and is gonna contact her family
who still lives there and encourage them to come to the concerts...isn't that
neat?

So, because I have waaaaay too much to do to get
myself ready to fly out of here tomorrow, I'd better think about leaving you for
this visit. Thank you for praying for me...for all that I'm trying to do and do
pretty well :). You see, the older I get the more I learn about the limitations
I have within ME, but the UNLIMITATIONS I have with HIM. That "Greater is He
that is within me that he that is in the world" thing isn't just another phrase
that sounds good...or lyrics in a song I've sung a zillion times...it's the
GOSPEL TRUTH that never fails. Know where that Scripture is???? 1 John 4:4.
Doesn't always feel like God is doing great things, does it? Another reason not
to trust feelings but always trust faith in Him.
Many thanks for blessing my life with your prayers
and support. I know, I know, I know that I disappoint some of you
sometimes...I'm so silly and fail a whole lottttttt, talk about some things here
that you might think as "worldly" or something. I have confidence, however,
that you are bigger than that, really. I guess I don't get toooo down in the
dumps when I'm labeled as a "stranger kind of person" 'cause it sure seems Jesus
spent a whole lot of time with reallllll strange people, didn't He?? I believe
you're staying in touch with God concerning ADM....and I thank you!! If you
think I oughta change, then please do tell Him you think He should have a talk
with me. And believe me, He will...He does!!! Yeaaaaa.

fANN Testimonial
Since I've been a part of the
fanntastic "world" many blessing have been mine. Friends have been made through
MTWR, forum and concerts. On one particular occasion I remember playing follow
the leader as Ann led a convoy consisting of Laurie, Annie B, Susan and myself
down a dark country road in Mississippi. After a few turn-a-rounds (one in the
middle of the road) we made it to our destination. What a fun night!!!
Being a fanntastic has
brought joy to our home, I've been privileged to have Ann, Laurie, Annie B,
Willo, Babs,
