A Beautiful Tuesday Ann D Greeting
Hi there fANNtastics
Now, this day could be about the most perfect day
ever!! Wayelllll, not because everything is perfect, but I'm saying that I
think God has gifted us here in Middle Tennessee with the BEST weatherwise.
It's just gorgeous, no humidity (Middle Tennessee in June??? ). I love it. I
have my back door open (watching for that squirrel :) ) and am enjoying the
breezes of this day as I sit here "slaving away" :).
Ann D keeper of the weekend Barbara Ann and I had a
good little MS trip. It was just a fun time with some of my home state folks,
even kinfolks!!! Of course, sometimes it's hard to tell the difference between
friends and kinfolks in MS :). And that's a good thing!
Many thanks to Louisville First United Methodist,
Pleasant Grove Community in Shannon and Weir Baptist for reminding me some of
the reasons I love my home state.
It was good to see fANNtastic Barb (with 4 of her 150
grandkids LOL) in Louisville (and yes, that "s" is pronounced down there) as
well as some kinfolks-in-law...my brother-in-law Jimmy's family---his sister
Vivan and husband Smith, their children Hugh (his cute Mrs. Hugh) and Sylvia
(her Christy with her) and then there was Jimmy's sister, Clyde..who was one of
our best "singalong singers".
Then there were cousins Childa, Fred and Ed Sunday
morning in Shannon...Sunday night in Weir was one of the best evenings I've ever
spent on the road...and that's the truth! Barbann and I agreed, as we drove out
of the parking lot, that we'd met some of the most gracious folks ever right
there! Had my cousin Betty Jo, who I literally grew up with, there and so many
others I wish I could remember the names of. Yep, I have a good job!!!!!!

I'm terribly concerned about the flooding victims in several
states. Can we pray in one accord for these precious folks? Don't you feel
it's our duty (and most of all privilege) to pray for each other in times and
situations like these?
And how was your father's day? I sure do miss my
daddy still. I'd just love to hear one of his stories
today!!!!!
I'm soooo pleased that lots of you have chosen to
order the special George Beverly Shea dvd. Even tho the special discount has
expired, it's worth the $19.95 to experience some of the life and music of a man
who has spent 99 years being faithful to God and the calling God has placed on
his life. Reminds me that God can and will help us to be true and faithful if
we choose to make him Lord...always choosing Him first!!
A reminder concerning placing your orders...if you've
joined the discount club back some time ago, don't forget to include that code.
We don't remember it for you :). You'll need to put your code right there in
the comments section...or if calling, remind me. If you want to know about what
the discount club is about, you can feel free to email me....hit
"reply". I should have info next week on my new All About The People
dvd. We're looking at a release date of July 11 or thereabouts. I think
there's a special discount coming for you faithful fANNtastics :)...maybe next
week?

Sooooo what's happening with you and vacation this
summer? Planning to go somewhere? Stay home? I'll be joining my little family
at the family farm the first week in July..around the Clark family reunion
time.
It's been a while, as you know, since I've mentioned
anything about financial support for Ann Downing Ministries. Most of you know
that a change was made here at ADM earlier this year in that Laurie went
elsewhere for employment...me taking over all the responsibilities with great
help from a lot of you. That was primarily done in order to downsize the
overhead of ADM. It was what I believed to be God's will for this time of my
life...I still believe that.
To be real honest with you, it's been a relief for me
not to feel I had to call on you fANNtatsics for support (and at the same time
knowing that God was in this thing of y'all and me working together). I am
grateful that it's easier now financially. I feel confident that many of you
are, too..you've proven you care.
I don't charge set fees, so without financial support,
it's more difficult to sustain the ministry, especially during the uncertain
times such as "summer slump" and around holidays.
I have had several people ask me recently as to how
they can participate on a regular basis in helping the ministry financially. I
have what's called the Barnabus group...fANNtastics who contribute at least $20
a month (many committing to more)...commitment being made for a 12 month
period. This has been a huge blessing for ADM...and I've heard some precious
stories how God has worked in your life as the result of your giving heart.
So to sum this all up...June is the month of renewal
of those commitments, and I praise God for those who did renew their pledge to
ADM. Would you want to join in? If you would be willing to commit to at least
$20 per month, you can do that online in Ann's Store and write Barnabus Group in the comment section, or you
can call the toll-free number, 1-877-886-1629, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 6
p.m. central. If I can answer any questions, please feel free to contact
me.
I would also like to send you first-time Barnabus
group fANNs the same favorite devotional, Jesus Calling, that I've shared with
"renewal fANNs".

Blessings and joy to all of you...what a nice part of
my week when I can say "howdy" to all of you...and even nicer when I see you at
a concert, retreat or in McDonalds or Walmart or wherever lol lol lol. Have a
glorious rest of the week...stay encouraged that you're lavishly loved by your
Abba Father!!!
