Hi
there fANNtastics,
I can tell you that I'm delighted to be home as I
write this. I loved my weekend, but it's feeling good to be settled in again
here in my little hovel.
And speaking of the weekend...let me say a big "thank
you" to Pastor Tim Haynes and wonderful folks at First Nazarene in Spartanburg,
SC for a delightful Sun. morning. Then on to Ranlo Baptist in Gastonia, NC
with Pastor Matt Thomas (and of course fiancee Kristen :) ) Sun. night. And how
much fun it was to have fANNtastic AnnieB back at her "helm" after a little bit
of an absence...her "helm" being just being there :). Welllll, manning that
jewelry end of the table is a big part of her "helming", for sure lol. Of
course, there was an Ann D keeper.......Karissa :).
I was tickled to see Paul's brother Jon and his Nancy
along with their daughter Georgeanna and her Joe Sun. night. Thanks to all of
you who made my day a whole lot brighter :).

New Gaither Vocal Band
Releases
 I'm kinda excited about the latest two
dvds to come out of the Gaither Homecoming gate...and they'll be released in
just a few days. I love the sound of those big voices of days gone by back
(Mark, David and Michael) with GVB (along with Bill and Wes :) ), so I'll be
lookin' for these!!! Somewhere here Shar will tell you more about our little
"discounted offer" and how you can sooooo easily order from ADM. Just remember,
you don't have to use a credit card to order from Ann's Store. The instructions
are there.

Ok...do you have your Christmas decorations all down
and put away?? I made my first stab at it this afternoon before my neighbors
turned me in, LOL. I took the wreath off the door and pulled the
garland and red bows off the bannisters, stowing 'em away in their little
"place" in the garage 'til later on this year :). The tree is
still there...all the little snowmen are still in their poses, everything is
waiting to be boxed up. Would you come and help meeeeeee???? :).
I'll tell you something else that's still lingering
around...the wonderful and peaceful knowledge that the Baby born in Bethlehem is
living strong in our souls. I have a new devotional that I've started this
year, written by Sarah Young...."Jesus Lives". Those of you who have heard me
talk so much about "Jesus Calling", also written by Sarah, know that I've been
totally blown away with that particular devotional these past couple of years.
And here comes another classic....the theme throughout (and subtitle) is "Seeing
His Love in Your Life". And just think...it started with that
Baby!!!
And I'll say this...if you would like a copy of "Jesus
Lives", I will be getting it into "Ann's Store".

There are a lot of fANNtastics (and you ARE one 'cause
you're receiving this little missive :) ) who are dealing with so many physical
challenges right now....just the real hard stuff. If the family of God is known
for anything it's known for praying for and with each other. And I'd like to
think that the little fANNtastic "slice" of God's family is doing its part.
Please, dear friends, feel free at any time to let me know of any prayer
requests you have...whether of physical nature or financial, family, etc. I
just especially hurt for those who are in real pain...dealing with harsh
diseases, breakdowns of their bodies, and on and on and on. Also, we have a
prayer time in the chatroom every evening at 9 p.m. (central) and I strongly
encourage and urge you to come in for that. Praying together in one accord IS a
vital part of the security of being a part of the family of God....do you
agree??
Sooooo, how cold is it where you are? I've teased a
lot of people this weekend about our conversations always leading to
weather....I guess we are all wondering where "global warming" went, ya think?
I'm delighted to be getting inquiries and
registrations in for MTWR (Middle Tennessee Women's Retreat for those of you who
are a bit new to our little bunch). Please make sure you're on the list to
receive a brochure...and if you aren't sure, email me back your mailing address,
ok? Those brochures will be going out this week. REMEMBER THE DATE...April 16
- 18.
Ok..it's suppertime!!!! Gotta search through that
"Frigidaire" for something....y'all ever call it that years ago??? LOL LOL LOL.
Great visitin' with you guys...sure am glad you are out there. Take care of
yourself....and just enjoy knowing He loves you a whole lot!!! Oh Oh Oh
